True, but that is not the regression we need to be concerned about!
To avoid misunderstanding - one point of comment #14 is that this is not a
regression.
While the point of comment #16 is that this intended feature (as the help pages
indicate) has been lost with the recent change.
I would like to respectfully submit the hypothesis that the "double" function
of the popup toolbox (as drop-down list and "tear-away") was not
appreciated/recognized -- which has led to its unfortunate demise.
