...looking a bit more closely it wouldn't be so bad if a 'Wrap Through' item
could be successfully placed as an inset over an As Character picture (other
wraps seem to push the picture away), but if you do so you then you can't
select it afterward to adjust it by clicking on it. Sometimes you manage to use
the pointer select tool to catch it in a rectangle if it happens to be in the
right position, but one I'm looking at I can't even do that as it selects the
As Character picture it's lying over. If I want to select the inset picture
that's over it I have to change the As Character one under it to To Paragraph,
do adjustments (which might simply be a case of wanting to move its position)
and change back again the Character As picture, which is all crazy... z-indexes
don't help.
