In general User Data is useful to have correct content in the property
dialog, but in times where user data and privacy is an unique selling point
for an open source project, I suggest to have a better (new) landing page in
the options dialog.

Hmm, I think that is a fallacy, having the means to anonymize a document by
clearing the User data _needs_ to be the most prominent action of the Options
dialog. Likewise the ability to encrypt or to sign a document.
While setting some value for the user fields exposes addition UI function (e.g.
last edit position) for document when reopened by the same user.
Opening to the User data panel of the Options dialog provides prominent control
of those functions.
Leave it alone.
