Then I do not understand your mockup. I thought the blue parts show the
character formatting of the marked text part.
I took the formatted dummy text example as available in this extensions [1] as
prototype. This dummy text has comments for testing purpose. Changes are only
made to the left margin and the content. Didn't I write some text?
