My question is a general note (no bug report but an improvement): Wouldn't
it make more sense if, in such cases, the table cell would crop the larger
picture? In this way it would be easier to fit a picture in width AND height
of the table cell, or even to scale a picture inside a table cell.
I agree, that this doesn't seem to be possible at the moment. I'm not sure, if
your suggestion should be the default behaviour, but it could be an option. But
I don't know, if this is possible. Let's ask design team for further input.
