The real size depends on the screen and the resolution. A typical screen with
27" and 1920px resolution horizontally has a real resolution of ~71 dpi while
the display manager takes the default of 96dpi. This difference makes objects
larger or smaller in case of high-res displays and you have to scale
appropriately.

Do users expect those advanced DTP functionality from an office suite? Likely
not. The issue is valid for all applications and I don't know any tool that
covers for the difference. => NAB
