We discussed the request in the design meeting and agreed that the Navigator is
not the right place for it. But it makes sense to show the word count with the
respective dialog (click on the second statusbar panel). Stressed in bug 123083
is the idea to show radiobuttons (or checkboxes) in this dialog select what
property is shown in the panel.
