Bug ID: 122002
Summary: Mail Merge toolbar hidden on next run if it was
manually enabled
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: needsUXEval
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: kelemeng@ubuntu.com
CC: libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org
One of our users complained that the MM toolbar disappears on the next run of
Writer even if they enabled it manually via the View - Toolbars menu.
It would be nice to have the toolbar remember its position, if it was enabled
manually.
Currently it appears automatically if there are database fields in the document
or the MM wizard was run.
User expectation is that they should be able to keep the MM toolbar always
displayed if they wish to, similarly to Word, which displays the Mailings
ribbon by default.
