I suggest to print a superscript in the affected cells referencing the
proper comment line -- a global option might then allow rendering of cell
comments as footnotes in printouts.
Sounds like a good solution (to just have the comment indicator printed is not
sufficient). System-defined footnotes may not work with special font settings,
col filling numbers, and likely result in other wishes. But we should
soft-pedal the rarely used and simple feature. Sp +1 to the idea.
