We should just remove the option that hides the CTL and CJK controls, and I
have always argued for that. i don’t buy the argument that this complicates
things for users who don’t use CTL or CJK scripts, besides being
wester-centeric (since it assumes that anything not western is a second class
citizen and needs permission to be displayed), it just also hides bad UX under
the rug instead of actually addressing it.
