/me thinks that doing a LOT of editing would benefit from getting familiar with
published documentation [1], and learning used tools in general.
Default fonts are configured using Options-Writer-Basic Fonts; or better by
using a pre-configured templates with proper styles.
Copying and pasting an existing text is expected to keep original fonts *by
default*, and may be done without formatting using Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V.
Using styles allows for easy font (and other formatting) management, and allows
to bind hotkeys to frequently-used styles.
The settings made at the application level persist when one updates, so they
"stick" to the user copy.
