Bug ID: 117708
Summary: Expose exporting as SVG slideshow as a separate menu
option (or similar)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: needsUXEval
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Impress
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org

Impress is able to create an SVG slideshow from a presentation that can be
shown eg. in a browser (so it's portable). SVGs can be expored via File ->
Export..., but normally only the current/selected sheets are exported.
The way to export the whole slideshow is to first select all the slides, and
then save it via File -> Export...
It would be nice if there was a separate menu item for this, similar to Export
as PDF..., the difficulty is that naming it Export as SVG... would be confusing
(compared to the current way to export SVGs of slides, which works as described
above). Another suggestion for the name: Export as SVG Slideshow...
Note that no options are need for the export, a file picker is enough.
Actually, maybe it would be enough to add a separete entry in the Export...
file picker, ie. SVG Slideshow alongside the current SVG - Scalable Vector
Graphics entry? (the extension would be SVG(Z) in both cases, which might also
be a bit confusing)
UX team, what's your opinion?
