an unpacked layout of the CIE HLC palette SOC
@Christoph,
Before we commit this HLC palette, would you consider adding the blank
padding needed to keep the 36 Color wheel spokes (8 rows of Lightness by 8
columns of chroma) in their relative positions.
Otherwise packing the SOC into our 12 column picker functionally breaks it.
Can either run the 36 spokes of 8 rows down the left edge. Or can run the
odd spokes 010 030 050... down left, and evens down right 020 040 060...
with reversed order. That is the lowest chroma to the edge, and shift the
two blocks by half so the padded space is reduced.
Clip of the layout attached.
I'd be glad to do this -- if you tell me how. Remember that I'm unfamiliar with
LibreOffice's internals and created the file using Swatchbooker as a converter.
