For the anonymous bullet list the character style "Bullets" is set as default,
which includes OpenSymbol. For a named bullet list the character style
"Numbering Symbols" is set as default, which does not contain any font
settings.
For the anonymous numbered list the character style "none" is set as default,
for a named numbered list the character style "Numbering Symbols" is set as
default.
That is inconsistent.
@Frank: Goto character style Bullets, tab Font and remove the setting
OpenSymbol by clicking on button "Standard", or goto the tab Options in the
list properties and set the character style to "none". One of them, should
solve your problem for now.
