When it comes to picking the best terms, I do not think polling is the answer either. As you pointed out, we’re not your “average users”. I propose we survey as many office suites and desktop publishing programs we can. We should use the latest version to make sure nothing is dated. Let’s pick the term based on the accepted industry standard for current software. This way users coming from other applications will be comfortable.
