Once a connector has been attached to a "custom" glue point, the glue point
can not be selected to be modified--so the connector has to be pulled away
to another anchor first.
I can select, modify and delete the glue-point without detaching the connector.
Perhaps you have not deselected the connector? It may not have red end points,
when you try to click on the glue-point.
