... a file could be on an external source (e.g. flash drive) that was plugged
in to access and then when the external source is no longer plugged in,
its entry gets removed from the list. So lets see what UX thinks.
We should disable those menu entries; better have the truly deleted files
grayed out than not showing files that are only temporarily unavailable.
