The .uno:ChangeCaseToLower and .uno:ChangeCaseToUpper commands are permanent
case changes that affect the characters' ascii values, while the 'Capitals'
and 'Lowercase' effects are character style level effects and dont have
equivalent uno commands to my knowledge.
Yes, I was wrong, you are correct. The Character dialog Font Effects apply a
"revertable" style to selection, while the Change case UNO commands actually
change the codepoint for the glyphs.
Still seems like this could be made more consistent.
And generating Small caps (for fonts that support them, or by style) should be
available as an UNO command, but that is another issue.
