I like the new position of the plus button, because you don’t have to chase it
with the mouse anymore every time you click it (this is the same reason why the
New Tab button in Google Chrome doesn’t move off your mouse until you’re done
with it).
On the double-click-versus-Ctrl-clicking issue, I have no preference, but the
current behavior works fine, and I don’t think this bug report has a good
rationale to change it.
