It would be very useful to have the management of master elements in Impress
through the sidebar. Currently there are basic elements in addition to
activating the slide/notes master page, but in the future you can add new
placeholders control.

Can you clarify what you mean here? Do you mean that management of which master
elements appear in a slide?
