Your use case is a little bit exaggerated since paragraphs do not have line
numbering by default. So it's only
Choose Format - Paragraph, and then click the Numbering tab.
Select Include this paragraph in line numbering.
Click OK.
And you want a direct formatting like bold font or right alignment, right?
Why don't you create two styles based on default or whatever you are using for
text, one with and the other without this property? Sounds pretty
straightforward to me.
