This assumes that OS reports the correct monitor DPI to LibreOffice, which is
mostly not the case an the usual default reported is 96 DPI (in Windows 7 - 96
is default, and you can choose additionally 120, 144, 192 DPI). If this
information is not correct, we can't scale the document to the real world units
correctly.
Still, what we could do here is to allow to adjust the DPI (for the document
canvas) and provide some sort of calibration wizard (something like "hold an A4
paper to the monitor and adjust the width of this line to match the width of A4
paper").
But I wonder how much people do really care about this?
