            Bug ID: 87701
           Summary: No-destructive rotation of images
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: ux-advise
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: philipz85@hotmail.com
                CC: libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org,

In Writer, when an inserted image is added to a document and it is rotated by
90 degree, the image original image is not retained and a new image is created
from the original image using the rotated direction. This is in contrast to the
flip horizontal and vertical commands which do not create new images when they
are toggled.

Is this problem due to a limitation of the ODF format?
