Please, no. I already hated the change in OS X, where it doesn’t fit at all.
I'm assuming that if the icons were larger, it may have been easier for him to spot and
understood what the icon was.
If our icon metaphors suck, large icons won’t help.
Also, don’t confuse with the whole HiDPI thing. Yes, it does need bigger icons,
but these are still proportional to the relative size of the UI, which is also
bigger (as in more pixels) in HiDPI.
