I verified the behavior of other programs, and I see most of them (randomly: Firefox and on Linux (Mint), Adobe Reader on Windows, Twitter (v2.2.0) and native 'text editor' on Mac OSX, ...) uses ctrl+shift+z for a redo action. I found 1 application during my random search that also uses ctrl+y as redo: Word for Mac.
Sorry for the noise. But off course, for Mac applications it isn't ctrl but cmd (Command).
