Hi Jean-Baptiste,

Jean-Baptiste Faure píše v Út 30. 04. 2013 v 14:43 +0200:

I have just implemented a dropdown for the 'Open' toolbar button:

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:Recent-files.png

To me this feels really good, I hope OK for you too? :-) Comments
appreciated.

Seems to work very well. To me too it feels really good. I like the
"Clear list" menu entry. :-)

The "Clear list" is not my work, I am only re-using the File -> Recent
Documents code that has that now :-)

Do you know why your dropdown menu has tooltip while the dropdown for
the Open button in the StartCenter has not ?

The code in the Start Center actually duplicates most of the code that I
have reused instead of duplicating, see:

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/tree/framework/source/services/backingwindow.cxx#n283

Would be better to re-use the code even in the Start Center - I've
created an Easy hack for that:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64088

Actually, this (and also the tooltip thing) might be done as part of the
GSoC task:

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/GSoC/Ideas#Use_Widget_Layout_for_the_Start_Center

Hopefully somebody will apply - please do encourage good students around
you!

All the best,
Kendy
