Hi,
Following the work of Navin (CCed) on fdo#40496 we found out that we need
to define the behavior of the "clear direct formatting" function regarding
alignment.
At the moment "clear direct formatting" also clears the text alignment back
to the default which is left alignment. This is great for LTR text, but
looks weird for RTL text. The proposed solution would be to align the text,
upon clearing direct formatting, according to the paragraph directionality.
This is a summary of the discussion at
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40496#c13 and is presented
here to decide the wanted behavior for the clear direct formatting.
Thanks,
Kaplan
