As I already wrote in comment <
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61736#c5> I think that users
may use LO as they want.
If they want to sketch a form with Writer or Draw and show its PDF or Paper
version - you should not stop them.
So If you understand this scenario, you will save pull-down arrows in Print
preview and PDF/paper out.

As a real life example - all web browsers print web forms as they appear on
screen - with all arrows and scrolling bars.
But if I save a web page (for example,
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61736), open it with
LibreOffice Writer I see all drop-down arrows on print preview but do not
see them after PDF export or print. It's not expected behavior.
I tried this operation in Microsoft Office Word 2003 and 2007 - there are
drop-down arrows in print preview and PDF/paper out. It's is normal,
expected WYSIWYG behavior.

I hope you share my opinion.

Hi all,

during my investigation I asked myself why we have the List- and Combo-
and Whatelse-Boxes arrows in the Writer Page Preview. In Print preview they
do not appear. It seems that that is a little worrying.

Of course there might be good reasons for showing them there (for example
to find out how page might look if you export to PDF with "Create PDF
Form"), but in general I think the Page Preview should be nearby results
you will get with print or export. And at least in a print there is no
reason to show these arrow pulldown elements, see my comment <
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/**show_bug.cgi?id=61736#c4<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61736#c4>
.

In OOo 2.0.3 I see a page preview without these peulldwon arrow elements
or spin buttons. In OOo 3.1.1 They have appeared.

Any thoughts concerning reasons why the elements are shown and how to make
the relation preview - Result more intuitive and predictable?
