Hi Tor,
I'd like to make some whiteboards to work on this so that the design team
can get started on designing.
I believe the file manager whiteboard [1] could suffice to design the file
management part of the UI.
As for the file viewer part, I've made a separate whiteboard for that [2].
Could you tell me what features should and should not be present in the
designs? (This lets me define the scope.)
Some specific things I'd like to know:
- Should we design for Draw or not?
- Will you support note viewing? What about advanced navigation (think
Navigator)?
- Should the design count on the viewer evolving into an editor?
- Should there really be no editing features? Not even basic text editing
without formatting commands?
- Should we design for both tablets and smartphones?
- How long do we have to design this? 3 weeks?
