Go to Tools -> Customize -> Keyboard.

Under "Category" list select "Edit".
Under "Function" list select "Find & Replace".
In shortcut keys find "Ctrl+F" and click "Modify" button on the right.
Now click "OK" and that's it -- you have restored the old behavior.
You can do it for Writer only or for whole LibreOffice suite globally.
You can delete Ctrl+F shortcut at all as well, if you like.

BTW, that was one of first thing I have done after upgrading to 3.4.X.

You can assign almost any LO command to almost any keyboard shortcut. Perhaps
you should spend some time there customizing, it can really speed up your
work!
