"Getting Started" Chapter 13 is about macros but it's something that has not 
changed much  since OpenOffice and there were some excellent guides written for 
that.  


However, it sounds as though something is not working the way it should so 
hopefully someone here can give a better answer.

I tried to record macro in Calc, but after clicking on "Stop recording" no
dialog appears. So I can't save the recorded macro.
