I've been using Draw for a while to add arrows, comments, titles etc to
lighting fixture catalogue pages. It has worked quite well with 1-2 slides.
Today with 4 slides, Draw is prohibitively slow, too slow to work with. The
file giving me fits is 1,742KB.

I've tried changing the memory graphics cache Options for LibreOffice, e.g:
LibreOffice 256MB, memory per object 100MB, number of objects 900. No help.
Do I have to restart LibreOffice or Windows for these changes to take
effect?

My desktop has a 2.67GHz Intel Zeon CPU, with 2.98GB of RAM, using Windows
XP. I'm able to work with multi-xref'd CAD files with good speed. I don't
think my machine is the problem.

All suggestions welcome. I would much rather do this with Draw than to go
back to the comments tools in Adobe Acrobat.
