Le 29/03/2011, Amine Arrahmane Achargui a dit :
Salam everyone,

i want to use BASE to Insert/Update/Delete rows from my postgresql tables,.

i'm using :

Ubuntu-10.10
LibO-3.3.2
postgresql-8.4

But once connected to the postgres server LibO does not allow me to add new
rows, or update/delete old ones

if i go to tools/SQL and insert/update/delete using SQL Statements, it's ok.
but i want to work normally like what i'm used to with mysql and hsqldb

If any one can help, thank you!

Hi listers

I'm facing exactly the same problem. I tried to reopen an odb file
created with openoffice 3.2 and which accesses a postgresqldatabase. The
connection to the database works well, but the access to the database is
read ponly : it is impossible to insert-update or delete any row.

In order to verify the offending behaviour I created a fresh postgresql
database with only one table with two rows : a serial (which is the
primary key) and a text field. Then I created a test odb file : same
problem : unability to insert-update-delete any row.

My config is :
Libreoffice 3.3.1 OOO330m19 (Build:8)
Postgresql 8.4
Ubuntu 10.04LTS

Thanks

Eric
