Hi,

Thanks everyone for the help! I should have considered it being an
optional feature...

Optional? I didn't install any "optional features" on linux (.deb install).

But I just noticed that you are using Windows (I use linux). Huh...
noticed that the "optional features" do not get automatically installed
in the Windows version (tested on a WinXP in VMWare) & reinstalling with
the 'optional features' (actually Optional Components) works (thanks Luuk).

Perhaps this is a good reason for tagging a post here with [Windows]
[linux] etc., and the particular LO version details so that others will
know what OS & version.

Anyway, for the record: these suggestions did the trick:

When installing, choose to install "XSLT Sample Filters" under "Optional
Components"
This will add the "OpenDocument Text (Flat XML) (.fodt)" format .

reinstalled just your new options.

Works perfect now, thanks again!

Kind regards,
