FYI. As of a few days ago Natty has LibreOffice as default:

Note that Natty is still Alpha& not recommended for production.

ZDNET - "Ubuntu opts for LibreOffice over Oracle's OpenOffice"

"What we do know though is that first Ubuntu, then Red Hat and Fedora and Novell and openSUSE will be releasing Linux distributions without OpenOffice."

" “The Ubuntu Project will be pleased to ship LibreOffice <http://practical-tech.com/development/openoffice-goes-its-own-way/> from The Document Foundation <http://www.documentfoundation.org/> in future releases of Ubuntu.” It wasn’t a sure thing though that Ubuntu 11.04, aka Natty Narwhal, due out on April 28th, would have LibreOffice. It is now."

"The next version of Oracle OpenOffice, 3.3, should be out within the next month <http://download.openoffice.org/all_rc.html> or two. On the other hand, Oracle has also announced a cloud-based office suite, Oracle Cloud Office <http://www.oracle.com/us/products/applications/open-office/cloud-office-170206.html>. Will Oracle continue to support both? We just don’t know yet."

So it looks like LibreOffice is going to be picked up by the major Linux distros. Maybe the fact that it is up-in-the-air whether or not Oracle will be continuing to develop OpenOffice.org or it will just work on their new Cloud based suite. If I was someone in the decision making for what was to be included in my distro, I would not go with a package that may not be continued to be supported by the
owner of the "brand name" for that package.

This is all good news for LibreOffice, but maybe bad new for those who have
worked their heart out for OOo's open-source version of Oracle's paid suite.
