Hello Rein,
please always reply exclusively to the list; thank you.
I just wanted to point out that the subject line of your email is
incorrect.
You can certainly use version 25.8. However, version 26.2 is already
available for download.
Installing LibreOffice with these versions will not affect your files or
documents.
Here is another link with information that provides some clarification:

Hello Rein,
first, i think there is a typo 25.8 instead of 28.5..
First is the Year and seconf is month.
If someone has installed Windows 11, they need to install LibreOffice
again afterwards.

I am Rein Reinkort from Estonia and have problem with use of
LibreOffice 28,5. I use software Windows 11 which I had a local IT guy
install instead of Windows 10. Problem is the following. Some days ago
I explored that double clicking on LibreOffice 28,5 icon the
LibreOffice didn't appear on display. I thought that something is wrong
with system and made restartings but nothing happened. LibreOffice
didn't open on display. This fact stopped all my works with saved
documents. What is reason and what I must make? I need speedy help.
Regards Rein Reinkort
