Well, I don't think the problem could be into LibreOffice.

LO doesn't operate directly onto the file system, but asks the operating 
system to do it.

Probably you are operating in LO with files located on network shares: 
this way, deletion is definitive, no matter LO, if no specifical 
technical solutions have been implemented.

When deleting a file (i.e. your WP), they are gone forever.   It would be
convenient to find them in the Recycle Bin.

When LibreOffice offers to delete a document file, have it use the OS’s
trash/recycle mechanism instead of permanent deletion.
