To be honest, I don't think it is a good idea to still use Windows 7 which not supported any more
and has *lots* of security issues.

If it is impossible to install the supported Windows version (11) on the box (which is probably the
case due to its extremely high requirements), I recommend replacing the OS by (e.g.) Linux Mint
<https://linuxmint.com/> which
* will for sure run on the old machine,
* is completely free and
* comes with the current LibreOffice release, of course including the Dutch localisation.

If you require applications which are available for Windows exclusively: you /may/ be able to run
them on Linux using the “Wine” emulator (<https://www.winehq.org/>, also included in Mint). YMMV,
though.

Just my € 0.01…

Best,
Albrecht.

Madam, Sir

I am buying a second-hand PC that still has Windows 7 Pro. Intended as an entry-level model for
the grandchildren.
This PC has software installed including LibreOffice 5, 4, 2, and 2.
A check for updates leads me to your website.

Apparently, this version of Windows is no longer supported by LibreOffice.
LibreOffice seems to me a good alternative to MS Office (presumably the same functions,
appearance, and capabilities).

My question is: is there a recent Dutch-language LibreOffice available that is still suitable for
Windows 7?

If so, can you help us with this? If not, then we must look for another comprehensive application.

We would be pleased to receive an answer.

Sincerely,
Hestia
