Greetings,

I get the same behavior with LO 25.8.4 on Fedora 42. After some
digging, I believe these registry entries are connected to the banners
(Info bars) that show up below the menu/toolbars
(see https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/867). [1] If
you want to get rid of them from the Help menu, I think your only
option is to go in Tools... > Customize and to remove the menu entries
from the Menu tab (Target Help) for all LO applications.

If this is for a group installation (or even if it's only yours), you
can edit your installation in
/install_path/libreoffice25.8/share/config/soffice.cfg/modules: edit
the menubar.xml files located in the <module_name>/menubar folder and
remove this group of 3 lines in each (remember two important things:
make a backup before you proceed and you will need to do this each time
you install a new version):

<menu:menuseparator/>
<menu:menuitem menu:id=".uno:GetInvolved"/>
<menu:menuitem menu:id=".uno:Donation"/>

This will remove the "Get Involved" and "Donate" entries from the
menus; it will also remove the separator line above "Get Involved"
which will make for a cleaner menu. I tried on my installation with
Calc, and it seems to work for what you want to do. I did not try for
all, so please move with caution.

I hope this helps.
Rémy.

Hi all,

I've a doubt. I've tried to configure Libreoffice using the Expert
Configuration feature.

The idea was to disable, i.e. the menu choice Help -> Donate to
Libreoffice by setting

org.openoffice.Office.UI.Infobar\Enabled\Donate\

to false

I applied the configuration, I saved and reopened LibreOffice but the
menu is still active.

It happens the same thing with

org.openoffice.Office.UI.Infobar\Enabled\GetInvolved\

Am I missing something?

Davide
