This assumes you are using Linux:
I believe that is an OS-wide theme issue. I don't
remember the details. Maybe if you use a dark
theme, try a lighter theme.

I recently upgraded from Linux Mint 20 with it's fully up to-date
libreoffice calc to Mint 22 with libreoffice calc 24.7.2.7. Now some
of the icons on the toolbar are not visible but if I mouse over the
blank areas a plain square will become visible and the name of the
function it represents will pop up. A couple of examples are the align
functions and the format as functions. How can I get them to be
visible, it is kind of annoying to have to mouse over the blank areas
to be able to use these functions. Thanks, Jim
