LibreOffice is free if downloaded from the LibreOffice website. If
downloaded from the Apple Store, there is a price which covers the
expenses of putting and maintaining the software in the Apple Store.
The two versions are identical, and there is a rather large number of
Mac users who prefer to pay to download the software from the Apple Store.

Hi,
Since when is LibreOffice a paid app in the Mac App Store? (Costs about
8.99 USD) As far as I know it's supposed to be free.
Kind regards,
Viktor
