Hi Susanne,

Microsoft Office, but I have run into a problem.

I have several large Microsoft Access databases and can not find a
way to convert them to Libre Office Base. Can anybody help me ?

Which system do you use?

Have a look here for connecting to Access:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Faq/Base/How_to_connect_to_a_Microsoft_Access_database

If I read "large" - are this databases used as server database? Then you should connect to a database server like MariaDB/MySQL. If you would only use this databases for one user I would start with
Base Database → Connect to an existting database → Firebird External
It will connect to an external Firebird file. If you want the wizard creates this file. It is better than internal databases, because an external file will write new entries directly to the database after you have changed content. Internal databases will write all content bach to the *.odb-file when closing the *.odb-file.

Connect to both databases.
Copy the first table from Access to Firebird.
Wizard will appear.
First test: Let the wizard create the tables with the fields it seems to detect.

Regards

Robert
