Thanks. This was also my impression. But that surprises because it
seems to be such an obvious function, especially for work in the
scientific field.
I can make a macro to handle a pair of cells (i.e. cell to be
monitored, time stamp cell), but would like to have one macro to apply
to all cell pairs assuming they had a fixed relationship to each other
(next column, or next row)
