[libreoffice-users] Crashes on saving and more issues, please help

Hi I am new (actually migrating from Open Office).
I was trying to edit a book with LO Writer. I have installed the Portable version on my Win7 x64 PC 
(i7, 8 GB). My PC is perfectly functional. I don't know if this matters, but the book is about 200 
pages long, contains about 70 pictures (which must be CMYK tiff's since I was required so). At some 
point I started getting crashes on saving. I cannot end my work and am in panic !! I must finish to 
edit it and add all pictures !

Unfortunately I can't even send any crash report, because it says "SSL connect error".
But my PC is perfect and internet access is ok !

Is the crash log stored anywhere, so that I can maybe send it manually ?

What can I do ??
