I found a couple of fonts I like but I have no idea how I could detect
what their font names are.

you may identify fonts using this process:

1. In Writer, enter some dummy "word" (a "word" -- a sequence of characters -- or two should suffice),
2. Export as image (PNG is better)
3. Goto some font identification web site where you'll be asked to submit the image.
I usually use
https://www.fontsquirrel.com/matcherator
but you may find others (search for "font identification").

The site will identify the possible font-s.
