I cannot locate the Language Tool server. I click on Tools - Options - Language Settings. The
Language Tool server is supposed to be there.
This is one of those places where LibreOffice documentation, and
LibreOffice functionality are widely divergent.
Option # 1:
>Tools >Options >Languages and Locale >Language Tool API Options.
There is a checkbox on this page. Check it, and fill in all of the
requested information.
The first item _Base URL_ defaults to https://api.languagetool.org/v2.
If you are using your own self-hosted Language Tool installation, change
the URL here.
Option # 2:
Download the Language Tool extension from
https://extensions.libreoffice.org/en/extensions/show/languagetool.
Check the checkbox at ">Tools >View >Language Tool"
The language tool toolbar will be displayed.
The toolbar icons, from left to right are:
* Find next mistake;
* Check the text
* Recheck the text
* Refresh the results
* Configure Language Tool
* Extension Information
If you use the extension, you will need to configure Language Tool for
your platform. Part of the configuration process may require downloading
additional files. (For an older version of Language Tool, I downloaded
almost a TB of additional files.)
