Re: [libreoffice-users] Help with searching

Have you checked into using the auto filters option? Select all the columns in the sheet that you 
want to apply filtering, then go to Data > More Filters and select AutoFilter.

This will then add a drop down list to each column header that has options for sorting/searching. 
It may not be quite what you're looking for, but thought it might be worth checking out.
