Hi.

LO 7.3.7.2
Linux 6.1 environment
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Release: 22.04
Codename: jammy

I am experiencing something I remember having before, but I forget how to
deal with it.

Somehow, when I try to open an impress file, it is nowhere to be found.
The Icon in the system tray shows an impress file is open, but it is
nowhere on the screen.

spreadsheet and writer files open normally, it only affects impress.

Not sure if this is what you're seeing. I've occasionally run across a similar problem in Writer. I open the file but apparently nothing shows up on the screen.

However, in my case, what seems to be going on is that the normal window size I use to open documents has defaulted to something ridiculously tiny. I've either found them accidentally or but systematically minimizing each and every other window I have open until the only thing left is this tiny little upper left hand corner of a window which is usually up near the top of the screen. It's is there but gets lost in all my other windows. On finding it I can very carefully grab the lower right hand corner and drag to expand it fully. Saving it at that point solves them problem...until the next times it happens.
