Another incomprehensible behavior arose.

I open a new document, copy text from a text file and try to save the document as .odt.
Yet, nothing happens.
I tried to save the document in different locations, but that does not change anything. Creating a document in the same way in Word (which I rarely use) causes no problems.

How can I fix this very annoying behavior.
