ranges > edit, you will see that by default the print range of each sheet is defined as 'entire sheet'
. You can, if you think of it, change that on each sheet to 'none'.
If you use export as pdf, the export dialogue again has a range selection possibility : All, Pages,
I doubt whether many people think of checking "format > print ranges > edit" if they have never
set a range in the first place.
